Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate A-Double combinations safely and efficiently
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
  • Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight, adhering to schedules
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation
  • Comply with all transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws
  • Adhere to load restraint guidelines to ensure secure transportation
Requirements:
  • A valid MC Licence with 2 years Australian driving experience
  • Experience in bulk haulage
  • Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws
  • BFM Certification - or willingness to obtain
