Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at the Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit (AAMHIU) in Townsville, QLD.

About the Role:
  • Deliver assessment, treatment, and care services in a low dependency unit and high dependency unit.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice in mental health care.
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in psychiatric care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
