Specialist Primary Teacher

We are seeking an accomplished and passionate primary art specialist teacher who will lead and mentor our teaching staff to create engaging and high-quality arts programs.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills into their teaching practice.
- The classroom teacher plays a significant role in assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes.
- A critical component of this work focuses on increasing the knowledge base of staff within their school about student learning and high-quality instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
- Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
- Undertaking other classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and developing Arts programs for a primary setting;
- Leading and mentoring teaching staff;
- Developing and implementing curriculum areas;
- Monitoring and assessing student learning;
- Providing expert advice and guidance to staff;
