Job Opportunity: Food Services Attendant
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Food Services Attendant to join our food services team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work a variety of available weekend and weekday shifts undertaking general kitchen duties such as meal distribution, food preparation, plating, and service of food.
The role is responsible for ensuring that meals are nutritious and well presented, meeting the needs of residents in our care. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring meal distribution to all services is accurate and timely.
- Assisting the food services team to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assisting chefs in the preparation, cooking, serving, cross-checking, and packing of meals for delivery.
- Undertaking general kitchen duties including cleaning, dishwashing, and plating of meals.
The ideal candidate will possess good communication and teamwork skills, be able to work within a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changes in the kitchen. A current food handlers certificate or willingness to undertake food safety training is preferred.
