About the Job

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects that contribute to the economic growth and resilience of local communities in Queensland.

You will be responsible for conducting commercial analysis, managing financial incentive and funding agreements, and implementing government policies and priorities. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on diverse projects, including renewables, decarbonisation, and infrastructure for major events.

Main Tasks:

  • Conduct scalable commercial, due diligence, probity checks, economic and value-for-money assessments for various industry, investment and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide project support, including data collation and checking for information requests and reporting.
  • Develop and manage funding agreements with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to deliver commercial, economic, and regional development outcomes.
  • Assist with negotiations and financial analyses for major projects subject to departmental funding arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefings, and correspondence as directed by senior officers.
  • Monitor financial incentive and funding agreements and undertake budget forecasts using spreadsheet analysis.
  • Ensure agreement management databases are up-to-date.
