We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our National Asset Management and Planning team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and undertake technical assessments, develop strategic plans, and prepare business cases for high-profile water infrastructure projects.

About the role

This position requires a strong understanding of planning and management principles, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading technical tasks across various water infrastructure projects.
  • Developing proposals and reports for clients.
  • Supervising project teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Participating in industry associations.
  • Complying with all role-specific obligations.

Your key responsibilities include :

You will have experience delivering engineering consultancy services to public and private sector clients. Your skills and qualifications should include :

  • Providing technical expertise across a range of projects.
  • Planning and operation of water supply and sewerage networks.
  • Preparing and delivering effective presentations.
  • Project scoping and proposal development.
  • Hydraulic principles and modeling.
  • Analytics techniques and decision support methodologies.
  • The use of GIS and Excel to analyze data.
  • Report preparation and mapping.
  • Recognized Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent.
  • Chartered status CPENG an advantage.
