We are seeking a reliable excavator operator for our client in Ormeau, in a quarry environment. The role offers opportunities to upskill and develop both personally and professionally.

Duties:

  • Safe operation of Large Excavators
  • Loading and Unloading materials
  • Manual Handling and Heavy lifting
  • Adhering to all safety guidelines/pre-start checks
  • Basic machinery maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Involvement in site meetings, toolbox talks, hazard-reduction initiatives

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar or identical role essential
  • RII Competency highly advantageous
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, on a day shift for 10-12 hour shifts - occasional weekend work required
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, and ability to work independently
  • Industry knowledge beneficial
  • 'Safety-first' mindset and a willingness to learn
