Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking a motivated and qualified Registered Midwife or Dual Qualified Registered Nurse/Midwife to join the team.
This is a permanent, full-time position where you will work across a range of areas including Birth Suites, Postnatal, Antenatal and Special Care Nursery.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
- Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
- Implement strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
- Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife (no restrictions)
- Minimum of 12 months' experience full-time equivalent clinical experience working as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is delivered to patients at all times
