Medical Officer Position at Mater Private Hospital

Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking a skilled Career Medical Officer to join its dynamic Intensivist-led multidisciplinary team in the Intensive Care Unit.
This is a permanent full-time position, ideal for an anaesthetics/ICU or ED trained registrar looking for a well-supported experience in a friendly patient-focused ICU.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Three (3) years postgraduate experience; including three (3) months preferably (6) months in anaesthesia; in addition, at least six (6) months experience in ICU and/or ED.
- Skilled in airway management including bag/valve/mask ventilation, endotracheal intubation and LMA placement.
- Demonstrated skill in the placement of arterial lines and central venous catheters.
