About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact as a Patient Transport Officer.

You will be responsible for transporting patients with various medical conditions safely and courteously.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide comfort and care during transit, develop strong relationships with patients and stakeholders, work independently and solve problems within established guidelines, and collaborate with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and intervene appropriately on-road.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care during transport.
  • Build trust and rapport with patients and stakeholders.
  • Work autonomously and resolve issues within set parameters.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Care, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent qualification.
  • Be available to work 10-12 hour shifts across 7 days.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive in city and rural areas.
  • Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and dedication.
  • Previous experience in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Undergo satisfactory safety screening including police check, working with children check, and right to work in Australia.
