About the Role

Our team is seeking Customer Service Officers to join their Registry Operations unit.

The hourly rate for casual positions ranges from $31.57 to $34.99, plus a 25% loading and superannuation contributions.

Casual roles are temporary and last for 12 months, with possible permanent opportunities available after this period.

The team is based in Traralgon, Victoria.

The Team

The ASIC Registry manages over 30 legal registers.

The Companies register and the Business Names register contain details of more than 3.2 million companies and 2.7 million business names.

These registers serve as the primary source of information on business names, companies, and other professionals operating in the Australian economy.

The Job Responsibilities
  • Guide customers to relevant information resources, enabling them to transact online and learn about our services and website.
  • Provide quality customer service by displaying empathy, possessing knowledge of our products, and being able to understand and interpret customer inquiries.
  • Maintain key performance indicators related to call handling and information processing times.
  • Offer basic IT support to customers, addressing issues such as outages, passwords, and account inquiries.
  • Participate actively in the Service Delivery team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service and teamwork.
  • A relevant secondary certificate or diploma is desirable.
  • Casual work is suitable for students or individuals who wish to balance work, family, and personal commitments.

As a casual employee, you will receive a 25% loading on your hours worked in compensation for not receiving entitlements under the National Employment Standards, including annual leave, personal leave, notice of termination, redundancy pay, and public holidays.
