Stella Life is seeking a Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to clients with disabilities and older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health, wellbeing and lifestyle assistance, support and services to clients.
  • Empower clients to engage in their communities.
  • Facilitate the use of clients' lifestyle support equipment and assist with daily needs.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality service provision.
  • Comply with safe work practices and maintain client safety and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Contribute to administrative and marketing activities and events.

Essential Skills, Competencies and Experience:

  • A qualification in human services or a related field is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with legislation regulating professional practice.
  • Experience in providing assessment, intervention and case management for people with disabilities or older adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise, organise and complete tasks within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding individual privacy.

Requirements:

  • Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
  • Reliable, registered and insured motor vehicle.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Working with Children Check and Working with People with Disability Check.
