**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Spotlight Retail Group.

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations, ensuring effective reporting, analysis, and control of the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the completion of month-end accounts, journal adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Report on and analyse actual results against forecast.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports.
  • Manage the external audit and the preparation of work papers.
  • Support Commercial and Operations teams with financial information and reporting to support decision making.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow management.
  • Lead and mentor the financial accounting team.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for improved business outcomes, particularly with respect to finance-related functions.

About You:

  • Must be CA or CPA qualified with prior relevant experience in a finance management position.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organisation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for retail.
