Financial Leadership Opportunity

**Job Summary**

ThompsonCook is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of our national membership association. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to drive business growth and success.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain timely financial and management reports to inform business decisions
* Lead change management initiatives to improve financial processes and systems
* Plan and direct long-term financial goals, evaluating existing plans and strategies
* Oversee group financial accounting activities, including statutory reporting and taxation compliance
* Lead budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial projections
* Provide business information insights and analytics to inform strategic decisions
* Play a key role in assessing strategic growth opportunities
* Provide advisory support to the CEO to improve business performance and delivery of strategic projects

**Requirements**

* CA / CPA qualified with relevant financial executive experience
* Proven ability to drive financial performance in a team-oriented environment
* Change management mindset and process improvement zeal
* Emotional intelligence and high levels of commercial judgement
* Strong management reporting and decision support experience
* Superior financial accounting experience
* Previous company secretary experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-starter who can build relationships across the business
