We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team in Melbourne. This role will support the Ankura Disputes and Economics practice, one of six practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

About the Role
  • This role will involve working directly with some of Australia's best litigators and expert witnesses.
  • You will be responsible for preparing damages assessments, valuations, analysing technical accounting issues, preparing economic analyses and conducting financial investigations.
  • You will also draft high-quality experts' reports and other deliverables.
  • Develop relationships, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF analyses.
  • Analyse technical accounting issues and prepare economic analyses.
  • Conduct financial investigations and draft high-quality experts' reports.
  • Work directly with clients and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
Requirements
  • A newly promoted Manager, an Assistant Manager/Supervisor, or a very experienced Senior Consultant/Senior Analyst at a well-regarded professional services firm, preferably in a forensic or disputes practice.
  • Has completed their post-graduate qualification (CA preferred) or is on track to do so in the next 12 months.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in building financial models.
  • Flexible approach to problem-solving, capable of identifying and applying legal and financial principles across a range of contexts.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills, including an ability to communicate clearly, crisply and concisely in a manner tailored for the audience.
  • Can work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
