**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our client's team at one of the top ISUZU dealerships in Australia. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications
  • Detect and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and other major repairs as needed
  • Meet client deadlines by completing work efficiently and effectively
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
  • Communicate with team members and clients to provide updates and recommendations

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with Isuzu trucks
  • Experience working with ISUZU vehicles is highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Valid driver's license
