Rostering Administrator

At SECUREcorp, we are seeking an experienced Rostering Administrator to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling rosters for our site portfolio, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and scheduling rosters for large numbers of staff
- Maintaining and updating rosters to reflect changes in staffing and site requirements
- Providing operational support to internal and external stakeholders
- Interpreting and applying relevant awards and legislation
- Coordinating training and site-specific inductions for staff
- Arranging ad-hoc shift coverage as needed
- Liaising with internal and external clients and staff to ensure effective communication and relationship management
Essential criteria for this role include:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the security industry
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Experience with rostering systems, preferably Kronos
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Demonstrated success in coordinating rosters and managing staff schedules
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think logically and provide clear and concise solutions
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of workforce rostering requirements or previous experience in workforce planning within the security industry
