Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Business Partner to join our team on parental leave cover.

This role will work closely with leaders to implement and support the people strategy across the division, focusing on grievances, performance management, and conduct matters.

The ideal candidate must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle employee relations matters promptly and sensitively, providing timely advice and support to leaders.
  • Manage end-to-end investigations into various employee matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and undertake activities like remuneration reviews to ensure compliance with workplace laws.
  • Coach managers to apply HR principles within their teams.
  • Lead onboarding programs for new team members.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops and seminars on people matters for leaders and frontline staff.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Deliver strategic people initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • HR Generalist and business partnering experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a broad range of employee relations matters.
  • Experience implementing change and/or initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder support ability.
  • Proven communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in a heavily regulated industry is advantageous.
