Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join our team at Mergent Recruitment Advisory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of managing plumbing requirements for multiple projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a relevant plumbing trade qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing/construction. They will also have in-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and standards, as well as project management experience including planning, organizing, resource management, budgeting, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractors, labor, and site managers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Organize and manage resources to meet production and installation schedules.
  • Analyze contract documentation and specifications to establish construction schedules according to client requirements.
  • Control project finances and budgets, including interim progress payment claims and receipts.
  • Manage cost variations and approvals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, drafting, accounts, estimating, and manage client expectations accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices and quality assurance.
