Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Poly Welder to join our team for major projects in South Australia.

  • Casual position
  • Monday-Friday work with potential Saturdays
  • 38.15 per hour + penalties

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, be safety conscious, punctual, and physically fit.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Welding polyethylene (PE) pipes using techniques like butt welding and electrofusion welding in the workshop and on site
  2. Heavy poly pipe manufacture
  3. Reading and understanding plans and drawings
  4. Manufacturing to specifications
  5. Ensuring all work complies with supplied drawings, schedules, guidelines, and criteria
  6. Adhering to planned work and maintaining required quality output
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful, you will need:

  1. A current driver's license
  2. Strong knowledge of poly welding - certificate required
  3. A White Card
  4. Ability to follow CAD plans
  5. Proven experience as a poly welder (workshop or site-based)
  6. Strong attention to detail
  7. Demonstrated skills in working within a collaborative, highly skilled environment
  8. Good communication skills, both oral and written
  9. Additional tickets (e.g., Forklift, Overhead Crane) are a bonus
