Job Overview

As a seasoned hospitality expert, the Bar Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional beverage experiences that elevate the overall guest satisfaction and meet regulatory standards.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in bar operations
  • Implement and continually evaluate guest service protocols
  • Adhere to pre-determined outlet setup guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and hotel procedures related to the bar and service of alcoholic beverages
  • Demonstrate expertise in all beverages served, preparation methods, and presentation techniques
  • Train team members on beverage knowledge and its application
  • Guarantee adherence to Company Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, and procedures
  • Enforce impeccable presentation and uniform standards among team members
  • Manage unexpected staff shortages through absenteeism reporting according to Company Attendance Procedures
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks as per Company procedures for all staff members
  • Maximize revenue by upselling, providing high customer service standards, effective training, and motivational techniques
Requirements

A successful Bar Supervisor should possess a warm personality, be attentive, presentable, and able to effectively respond to demanding guest needs. They must demonstrate excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, being accountable and resilient while committed to delivering high levels of customer service under pressure.

  • Customer Service experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred
  • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service is essential
  • Basic IT proficiency is required
  • Experience in supervising fast-paced bar environments is beneficial
