Key Responsibilities:

The Commercialisation Manager will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to identify, develop and commercialise intellectual property.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with research groups to identify valuable IP opportunities.
  • Effectively manage IP throughout the innovation process.
  • Provide support for negotiations and related legal documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of commercialisation briefs.
  • Support education programs aimed at fostering innovation.
  • Collaborate on business development activities with external partners.
About You:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a scientific discipline relevant to strategic programs.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a relevant industry sector or business development role.
  • Experience in developing strong relationships with researchers.
  • A keen interest in early-stage technologies.
  • Working knowledge of IP protection processes.
  • Familiarity with law relating to research translation and commercialisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively about IP opportunities.
  • Proven team player with a collaborative mindset.
