Facilities Maintenance Officer

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this full-time position requires you to work independently to ensure that our facilities and production equipment are kept in optimal condition. The role typically operates Monday to Friday, with shift hours generally ranging from 6am to 2pm.

What does your typical week involve?

Routine site evaluations: Begin your day with a thorough inspection of the plant equipment to confirm that facilities and essential infrastructure are functioning properly.

Wastewater management: Monitor the operations of our wastewater treatment facility and collect samples to ensure regulatory compliance.

Preventive upkeep: Engage in proactive measures to minimize downtime, ensuring that the factory runs at maximum efficiency.

General maintenance responsibilities: Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to assist with various tasks around the processing facility as needed.

What qualifications should you possess?

This role is ideally suited for individuals with a background in electrical or mechanical fitting. We seek candidates who demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Self-driven and responsible team player capable of working independently
  • Experience in a dynamic FMCG setting (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Proactive mindset towards continuous improvement
