Urban Planning Professional

We are seeking a proactive and experienced urban planning professional to join our Brisbane design team.

The ideal candidate will contribute to various master planning tasks, including site analysis, concept development, structure planning, detailed subdivision design, yield analyses, and design guidelines for greenfield projects.

The successful applicant will participate in urban design visioning and critical thinking, developing innovative approaches towards frameworks, detailed urban design projects, and strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Visualising design concepts through 2D and 3D modelling using freehand and graphic programs such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketchup.
  • Collaborating with other professionals on multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring timely delivery and commercial success.
  • Supporting the design studio in meeting client requirements.
  • Liaising with clients and fellow consultants during project meetings.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in town planning, landscape architecture, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in architecture, urban design, or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Experience working with 3D visualisation software, including Sketchup, Lumion, Revit, Enscape, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
