As a dedicated environmental steward, you will be responsible for driving our client's environmental performance to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy
  • Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices, including driving efficiencies in utilities, while working in collaboration with on-site departments
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations
  • Liaise with relevant bodies, such as regulatory agencies and public authorities
  • Audit, analyse, and report environmental performance to senior management and stakeholders
  • Promote and raise awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues at all levels of the organisation
  • Implement best practice in areas of corporate, ethical, and social responsibility and address any issues arising
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to continually improve the organisation's impact on the environment
  • Train staff at all levels on environmental issues and responsibilities, including training operators to a high standard and creating a training programme
  • Participate in environmental education and research

You will possess excellent attention to detail and be a strong communicator, both verbally and written, with excellent IT skills.

A degree in Environment, Earth Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
