About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Emergency Department Mental Health Team at Wyong Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex specialist nursing care and leading the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with mental health needs
  • Lead the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination
  • Assess and triage referrals from various sources, including the Emergency Department and Community Mental Health Services
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Post-graduate qualifications relevant to the specialty
  • Minimum of 3 years' full-time equivalent clinical experience in the specified post-graduate field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
