Lead Energy Transition Specialist

Australia's energy future relies on skilled professionals like you to lead the transition. As an Energy Transition Expert, you will play a crucial role in driving the country's shift towards renewable energy sources.
Key Responsibilities- Commission and oversee the operation of various renewable projects, ensuring they reach full output efficiently.
- Validate and close-out R2 models, guaranteeing their accuracy and reliability.
- Strengthen technical collaboration with clients by resolving project issues constructively and delivering tangible outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and decision-making across performance standard assessment, power system stability, system strength remediation, registration, and commissioning.
- Support regulatory changes to facilitate the integration of large-scale renewable energy projects into the Australian electricity market.
- Develop a coordinated vision and framework for integrating diverse generation and storage technologies into the National Electricity Market (NEM).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or other power systems discipline.
- Extensive experience in commissioning renewable projects, including transmission and distribution projects.
- Demonstrated experience in R2 compliance requirements and R2 model validation.
- Proven ability to deliver small- to medium-sized projects, utilizing a service-oriented, outcomes-focused, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in overseeing generator commissioning and skilled in diagnosing and addressing performance challenges in generators and power systems.
