* Provide strategic advice to senior management for impactful decision-making and aligning communication strategies with the department's goals.

Essential Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
Key Knowledge and Experience:
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's and upholding the to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a proactive and collaborative approach to working in a team. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate:
* Strong experience in digital media, website management, and content production.
* Proven track record in developing effective communication strategies and reaching target audiences.
* Familiarity with educational leadership or public sector is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience using Adobe Creative Suite to design and produce high-quality visual content.
* Have 5+ years' experience in communications or a related field.
