Our Cardiac Cath Lab team is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care and coordinate the supervision of junior staff and students. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing coronary angiography, pacing, minor structural heart interventions, electrophysiology, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct total patient care to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of legislation and common law affecting nursing practice and acknowledge accountability for own actions.
- Ensure infection management policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to by all staff.
- Assist in completing incident reports and participate in documentation of risk assessments and standard operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers and patients using appropriate channels.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent clinical experience within a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Commitment to quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
- A competitive salary ranging from $68,093 to $96,175 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% superannuation.
- Casual rates start at $42.94 per hour, plus 12% superannuation.
