Job Overview:

This role involves providing support to classroom teachers in their daily activities, encompassing both academic and supervisory responsibilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer instructional assistance to English Language Learner (ELL) students
  • Maintain open communication with teachers regarding student needs
  • Translate school documents from English into Spanish
  • Promote a patient and composed demeanor in challenging situations
  • Evaluate sensitive information with confidentiality

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A successful background check and clearance under HB 2062 are necessary
  • Previous experience working within an educational setting is highly valued
  • The ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is essential
