Job Overview:

Lead Brain Health Initiative Project Manager Role

The successful candidate will oversee the coordination of stakeholder engagement and program implementation across multiple sites. This role will involve managing relationships with our database and scientific services partner, IQVIA.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate research team meetings, advisory committee meetings, and steering committee meetings.
  • Prepare reporting for these meetings.
  • Manage administrative functions of the initiative, including budget management and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with industry stakeholders, such as club personnel, players, and AFLPA.
  • Develop policies and protocols for data management in collaboration with IQVIA.
  • Establish standard operating procedures and provide training on risk and safety monitoring.
  • Manage ethics submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold the integrity and ethical conduct of research in line with the AFL Research Governance Framework.
  • Prepare progress reports for the Brain Health Initiative Steering Committee and HREC.
  • Model a culture of safety, transparency, teamwork, and collaboration within the organization.
