Senior Civil Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Structural Engineer to lead and innovate across brownfield and asset maintenance projects within the fuel terminals and petrochemical sectors. Reporting to the Lead Civil Structural Engineer, you will work with a team of engineers and designers to provide safe, reliable, and efficient technical expertise to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality civil and structural engineering designs that align with project and business needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive design and analysis of tanks and tank foundations, adhering to industry standards and codes.
  • Design piling foundations for various applications.
  • Utilise software tools like Spacegass, Robot, 12D, and Civil 3D for design and analysis tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver successful projects.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering design, particularly in resource, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
  • Proven track record in designing piling foundations and related structures.
  • Expertise in piled tank foundations, bulk storage tank design, and general structures & foundations.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualified, highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
