About the Role

Sedgman is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement control systems for mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure
  • Liaise with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective project delivery
  • Work in a highly experienced team to deliver small and large projects across the project lifecycle
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Control Systems Engineering in the minerals processing sector
  • Experience with specifying, implementing, and commissioning PLC systems (Schneider, Siemens, or Rockwell) and SCADA (Citect or Rockwell)
  • Experience in design and configuration of associated control system networks
