Senior Quality Engineer - Mobile

At Qantas Group, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Senior Quality Engineer - Mobile, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our mobile applications.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Mobile team. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our automation scripts suite, improving our CI infrastructure, and manually testing mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts suite for mobile applications
  • Improve CI infrastructure for mobile applications
  • Manually test mobile applications
  • Foster a culture of quality within the team
  • Explore non-functional testing, including accessibility, performance, and security
  • Improve testing tools and test approach
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with version control tools, such as Git and GitHub
  • Experience in embedding best practices in application testing within project delivery teams
  • Experience researching and troubleshooting bugs and performance bottlenecks in production environments
  • Ability to perform manual testing
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with functional testing techniques, including unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
  • Extensive proficiency in mobile testing and performance testing of APIs
  • Mastery in formulating and implementing testing strategies and plans
  • Knowledge of Splunk and Swagger
  • Experience engaging technical and non-technical partners
