Engineering Design Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary engineering services company, leaders in their field.

  • Contribute and complete project milestones or deliverables as required
  • Produce accurate and technically correct CAD models and drawing packages
  • Provide timely and quality advice/checking for the design team on moderate complexity deliverables
  • Collaborate with the design and/or engineering team across all departments
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in design drafting, preferably in the Mining (Iron Ore and/or Material Handling sector)

Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software packages AutoCad, Inventor, Navisworks and exposure to Point Cloud is highly desirable

Strong understanding of critical path activities and ability to prioritise scope of deliverables

Background of working on mining projects is essential

  • Multidisciplinary exposure, including structural civil and mechanical piping/processing
  • Advanced Inventor experience
  • Advanced AutoCad 2D and 3D experience
  • Experience executing all stages of a project
