At YMCA NSW, we're seeking an experienced Fitness Instructor to lead our group exercise classes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Recreation Team and inspire others to live healthier lifestyles.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who can deliver safe, engaging, and stimulating fitness classes that cater to diverse needs and abilities. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you'll be responsible for creating a positive and motivating atmosphere, fostering participant engagement, and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality group fitness classes within format guidelines
  • Develop and implement freestyle classes that cater to different interests and fitness levels
  • Motivate and educate participants to achieve their health and wellness goals
  • Foster strong relationships with participants and promote a sense of community

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Fitness (or equivalent)
  • Certificate IV in Fitness (desirable)
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • AusREPS Registration

Working Arrangements:

This role is based at one of our recreation centres in NSW. You'll be required to work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate varying class schedules.
