Our Federal Government client seeks a highly skilled analyst to fill the role of Personnel Security Vetting Analyst for a 12-month contract with two optional extensions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for processing security clearances according to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and standard operating procedures using DFAT's electronic case management system for Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, and Negative Vetting Level 2 clearances.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process security clearances efficiently and effectively in accordance with PSPF and SOPs.
  • Provide high-quality advice on clearance outcomes and maintain strong communication skills.
  • Assess and manage complex vetting clearances, including preparing denial documentation to a high standard.
  • Conduct quality assurance on files, ensuring alignment with SOPs and PSPF.
  • Manage a security clearance caseload in partnership with an outsourced service provider (OSP) to meet benchmarks.
  • Work under tight deadlines and effectively manage heavy workloads.
  • Perform additional support or vetting functions as directed by the Assistant Director Vetting or Director SCI.
Qualifications
  • Cert IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting) is mandatory.

  • Ability to work effectively individually or within a team environment.
  • Minimal supervision required.
Mandatory Requirements
  • A Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is mandatory for this position.
