Server Infrastructure Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT professional to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting and managing complex Windows desktop and server environments.

You will play a key role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, while providing expert-level support to end users and collaborating on infrastructure improvements.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktop and server systems (Windows 11, Windows Server).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to ensure optimal operations.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, updates, and antivirus solutions to safeguard systems.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and guidance to junior IT staff as required.
  • Perform regular patching, updates, system backups, and disaster recovery tasks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to plan, test, and implement new systems and technologies.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services.
  • Ensure IT operations are compliant with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Windows Desktop/Server support role.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (Windows 11, Windows Server editions).
  4. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
  5. Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  6. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to manage priorities and work independently or within a team environment.
  8. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate) are advantageous.
