Clinical Team Leader Veterinarian

We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead our clinical team in North Queensland.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you will be responsible for providing primary care for medical and surgical cases, overseeing training and mentorship of the primary care Veterinarian team, serving as line manager for GP veterinarians, and contributing to the training of nursing and animal attendants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small animal practice, excellent communication skills, and a friendly attitude. They will also have opportunities to develop their skills, explore special interests, and live a relaxed lifestyle in a beautiful coastal community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing primary clinical care for both medical and surgical cases
- Overseeing training and mentorship of the primary care Veterinarian team
- Serving as the line manager for GP veterinarians
- Assisting in performance appraisals for GP veterinarians
- Contributing to the training of nursing and animal attendants
The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. They will also be able to demonstrate leadership skills, with experience in mentoring or leadership roles being highly regarded.
