About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Software Engineer to join our team at Nine. As a key member of our Security Practice, you will play a critical role in driving our DevSecOps strategy and ensuring the security of our technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers to ensure secure coding practices and design principles are followed.
- Identify vulnerabilities and coding anti-patterns using industry tooling and scripting.
- Advise on secure implementation and design, and document best practices.
- Assist with security training workshops, security tool management, threat modelling, and reporting/metrics.
- Liaise with the Cyber team on areas of shared interest.
Requirements:
- Strong application development skills.
- Ability to script and automate routine tasks.
- Experience with SAST and SCA tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- A self-starting attitude and a desire to learn.
