We are seeking a highly skilled Security Software Engineer to join our team at Nine. As a key member of our Security Practice, you will play a critical role in driving our DevSecOps strategy and ensuring the security of our technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure secure coding practices and design principles are followed.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and coding anti-patterns using industry tooling and scripting.
  • Advise on secure implementation and design, and document best practices.
  • Assist with security training workshops, security tool management, threat modelling, and reporting/metrics.
  • Liaise with the Cyber team on areas of shared interest.

Requirements:

  • Strong application development skills.
  • Ability to script and automate routine tasks.
  • Experience with SAST and SCA tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • A self-starting attitude and a desire to learn.
