
Supportive Family Services Worker

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to deliver comprehensive assessment and case coordination services to vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
The successful candidate will be part of a large and supportive team environment and promote a 'risk-aware' culture by identifying, reporting, and addressing all forms of risk to clients, staff, and community.
Key Responsibilities:- Promoting a Risk-Aware Culture:
- Conduct thorough assessments of families and young people to ensure the child's and family's needs are addressed.
- Work with families with children on issues related to child protection, including domestic violence, mental health, and substance misuse.
- Provide outreach to engage with families and young people at an early stage.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in information provision, intake, assessment, and referral of working with families in need of support services.
- Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities.
- Able to engage with parents and young people to develop case plans and goals.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- National Criminal History Check.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Current Driver's Licence.
