About the Job

This role focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating education programs to enhance clinical competence and promote evidence-based practice principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop educational programs that boost staff knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement education portfolios/programs.
  • Evaluate current education programs to ensure they are up-to-date and based on the best available evidence.
  • Ensure education delivered meets the needs of staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the relevant regulatory agency.
  • Desirable: postgraduate education qualifications or postgraduate clinical qualifications with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge and experience in an acute care facility within the Perioperative environment.
  • Able to integrate theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to develop innovative educational strategies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
