Payroll Analyst Opportunity

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a Financial Services organisation to find a skilled Payroll Analyst to join their team on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, balance, and reconcile payroll, PAYG, FBT Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and other financial transactions.
  • Manage the primary upload of Payroll and other HR payments, including superannuation.
  • Review and prepare commentary on invoices for circulation.
  • Monitor and track expenditures against the budget.
  • Collaborate with outsourced vendors to gather and review employee-related payroll information.
  • Resolve and track tickets with vendors.
  • Oversee the department's bank account transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
  • Contribute to the administration of the superannuation clearing house.
Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • 4+ years' experience in Payroll.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
