About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Home Lending Specialist to join our Hervey Bay team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to customers to determine suitable lending solutions.
  • Conduct first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to assess their financial positions and recommend suitable lending options.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external referral sources to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's processes, procedures, and Code of Conduct, including accurate financial assessments and security checks.
  • Participate in regular coaching sessions to enhance lending knowledge and skills, and share best practices with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar home lending role within a bank or mortgage broker environment.
  • Demonstrated business development success and a well-developed knowledge of home lending products and responsible lending legislation.
