Electrical Fitter - High Voltage Specialist

Sulzer is a pioneer in industry, with a proud heritage of innovation and a commitment to evolving for the future. As a member of our Services_APAC team within the Services division in Australia, you will play a key role in helping us take Sulzer to the next level.

In this role, you will be accountable for the inspection, repair, and overhaul of electro-mechanical equipment, including High, Medium, and Low Voltage electric motors, generators, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment. You will also be responsible for rewinding electric motors and generators, controlling the flow of jobs through the Department, and attending onsite to effectively conduct repair of rotating equipment.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Trade Certificate level III in Electrical Fitting; Electrical Machine Repair; or equivalent, as well as 5+ years' experience in repair and overhaul of High/Medium/Low voltage electrical rotating equipment and machinery. Strong communication skills, high-level problem-solving skills, and high-level skills in time management are also essential.

As a member of our team, you will enjoy a variety of work at our service centre location and field work, site allowances for field work, technical training and development, and an Employee Assistance Program. Salary: $90,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation.
