Molecular Diagnostics Validation Expert

The role of a Molecular Diagnostics Validation Scientist is pivotal in ensuring the precision and dependability of our molecular diagnostics products. Key responsibilities include conducting analytical studies for novel nucleic acid extraction kits and real-time PCR assays, as well as supporting process, equipment, and software validation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive analytical studies for new nucleic acid extraction kits and real-time PCR assays.
  • Support specific aspects of process, equipment, and software validation.
  • Analyse data and contribute to problem-solving and experimental design.
  • Precisely prepare study protocols and reports.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation for all tasks, adhering to our Quality Management System's requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with project management principles.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of BSc in Biomedical Science or a related field.
  • Previous experience in assay development or validation roles for medical devices or regulated products.
  • Previous experience with product, process, or equipment validation.
  • Molecular biology expertise, including Real-time PCR.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
