
Chief Audit Specialist

Audit roles are at the heart of our team, working closely with diverse stakeholders to uncover insights and drive business improvements.
This role is responsible for planning and conducting operational audits, compliance reviews, and assurance work across various teams within the Department of Customer Service cluster.
You will engage with multiple levels of the business, leveraging your relationship-building skills to gain a deep understanding of their operations.
We are looking for individuals who can identify areas of improvement, provide expert advice on governance and compliance standards, and partner with key stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Professional membership with Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Strong audit experience in a Big-4 or similar organisation or experience performing operational audits, compliance reviews, and assurance work
