Senior Mechanical Project Lead

This is a Permanent Full-Time position on a 4:3 roster, FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa.
As the Senior Mechanical Project Lead, you will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and implementing a program of work that aligns with defined areas of accountability, ensuring the successful delivery of capital and operational projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams to deliver cost-effective solutions on time
- Demonstrating strong governance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with business needs
- Facilitating clear communication and reporting on project status, milestones, and risks
- Supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement by mentoring team members and fostering collaboration
About You
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Experience simultaneously leading and managing multiple projects in the Mining and Resources industry
- Delivering complete life cycle brownfield projects from $150k-$1M in remote locations
- Proficient in developing and managing schedules and budgets
Qualifications for this position are:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Project management qualification desirable
- Current C Class drivers licence
