Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator where you will play, teach and take care of children in a safe learning environment.

About the Role
  • Our after school care program runs from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory availability days. We prefer Monday to Friday availability but it's not essential.
  • We offer up to 6 hours per day of holiday care.
  • You will deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value.
  • Supervising and supporting children is also a key part of this role.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy food options.
  • Your goal will be to create an engaging and happy environment for children.
  • Building meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders and the school community is crucial.
About You
  • You must have an engaging and warm personality.
  • A strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting is required.
  • Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
  • You hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care (or studying towards) or equivalent.
  • You will need a Working with Children Check and First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • A Child Protection Training Certificate is also a requirement.
  • Monday to Friday availability is preferred.
