Job Title: Evaluation Projects Officer

The Lighthouse Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to fill the role of Evaluation Projects Officer.

This position will involve leading project coordination, qualitative and quantitative data preparation and analysis using a range of methods, and report production. The successful candidate will have excellent administration and project management skills, be passionate about supporting future systemic change, and demonstrate a commitment to upholding evidence-based practice and ethical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading project coordination of a 3-year proof-of-concept study evidencing Lighthouse Foundation's Model of Care within our kinship care program, Family Support
  • General monitoring and evaluation support for Care Services
  • Qualitative and quantitative data preparation and analysis using a range of methods
  • Report production
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of research methods, data collection and analysis (qualitative and quantitative), and experience in report writing. They will also have excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills, with the ability to work independently and liaise with various teams across the organisation.

  • Proven ability and experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
  • High computer literacy with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including proficiency in Excel)
  • Experience in research methods, data collection and analysis (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Experience in report writing
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesise data and information from various sources
  • Experience in using statistical analysis software (e.g. SPSS)
